Why use Take Screenshot?
Small jobs like this should not need an app install. Your browser can do them directly, and it tells you plainly when a permission or format is missing.
The capture goes through your browser's screen-sharing prompt. You choose the whole screen, one app window, or a browser tab, the tool grabs a single frame at the resolution the browser shares, and it saves that frame as a PNG. Sharing stops right after the frame is taken.
With more than one monitor, pick the screen in the prompt rather than a window if you want everything on that display. Chrome and Edge can share a single tab, which leaves out the address bar and bookmarks.
Phones and tablets do not let web pages capture the screen. On an iPhone, press the side and volume-up buttons together; on Android, power and volume-down. Then open the screenshot in any ExtractPics tool.

Take Screenshot tips
- With two monitors, choose the screen in the prompt rather than a window to get the whole display.
- In Chrome or Edge, share one tab to leave the address bar and bookmarks out.
- Close chat pop-ups first; the frame is grabbed as soon as you confirm the prompt.
- Trim the capture afterwards with Crop Image if you only need one part.
