What PDF and Web Table Extractor does

The PDF and Web Table Extractor turns detected tables into rows and columns you can edit. It accepts a public webpage, a public PDF URL, or an uploaded PDF up to 20 MB and 100 pages, then labels each result with its page and table number.

It is built for text-based documents. Bordered tables, aligned text tables, and multi-page tables can be reviewed in the result grid, while scanned pages that contain only pictures are reported rather than sent through OCR.

Questions about PDF and Web Table Extractor

If your question is not covered here, send us a message and include the page, file, or result type you are working with.

Can it extract a scanned PDF?

No. The parser needs selectable text. A scan made only of page images is reported as unsupported because this release does not include OCR.

How are multi-page tables handled?

Detected tables keep their page and table numbers. You can review the rows and combine compatible sections before export.

Does an uploaded PDF stay on the server?

No. The temporary upload is removed after processing. Signed-in users may save the resulting data, but not the original temporary file.
