Google Analytics and our first-party product analytics help us understand aggregate use, reliability, and tool completion. Product events use coarse technical fields and do not include submitted URLs, filenames, payment identifiers, extracted content, or license keys.

Advertising

Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve and measure advertising. Your browser and regional consent settings determine whether ads may be personalized.

Signed-in users with an active Community Supporter or Sustaining Supporter badge receive an ad-free experience while their applicable supporter entitlement is valid. For those requests, our server does not render ad placements, AdSense metadata, the AdSense script, or the ad-block check.

Local ad-block check

Immediately before a free, server-backed action can use global credits, the page may run a first-party check to see whether advertising resources are being blocked. It temporarily creates a small off-screen test element and requests a same-origin JavaScript file. The test does not read your extension list or scan your device.

A clean result is stored in session storage for five minutes to avoid repeating the check on every action. This value contains only the time of the successful check. It is not used for advertising profiles and does not contain the submitted URL or tool result. The check does not run for local browser-only tools or ad-free supporter requests.

Your choices

You can delete or block cookies and site storage in your browser. You can manage personalized Google advertising through My Ad Center.
