shield

ExtractPics respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We respond promptly to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and comparable laws elsewhere.

How ExtractPics works

ExtractPics is a tool that reads the publicly available HTML of a web address you provide and lists the image URLs found on that page so you can preview or download them. We do not host, store, or republish the images themselves. The images remain on the original website's own servers, and any download happens directly between you and that source.

Because we are an automated conduit and not a content host, the most effective way to have an image removed from the internet is to contact the website that actually hosts it. That said, if you believe ExtractPics is being used to facilitate infringement of your work, you may send us a notice as described below and we will act on valid requests.

Your responsibility as a user

You may only use ExtractPics to access and download images that you own, that are in the public domain, that are licensed for your use, or that you otherwise have the legal right to use. Downloading copyrighted images without permission may be unlawful. You are solely responsible for how you use any image obtained through the Service, as set out in our Terms of Service.

Filing a copyright takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe material accessible through ExtractPics infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our designated agent. To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works are involved).
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — including the specific image URL(s) and the source page URL.
  4. Your contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Designated agent & contact

Send your DMCA notice to our designated agent:

Copyright Agent — ExtractPics

Email: blog.boopul@gmail.com

Please use the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice".

We aim to review and respond to complete, good-faith notices within 5 business days.

Counter-notification

If you believe material was wrongly identified or removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. It must include your signature, identification of the material and its location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake, your contact information, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. Note that filing a false counter-notification may carry legal consequences.

Repeat infringers & misuse

In appropriate circumstances, we will block or terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers. Please also be aware that, under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, you may be liable for damages — including costs and legal fees — if you knowingly misrepresent that material is infringing.
