Why use Star Crop?
Drawing an even star by hand means placing ten corners at exact angles. Here those ten points are already set, so a badge, a sticker or an award graphic only needs framing.
The star sits inside a square frame, so the export is square: 1200 × 1200 by default, or any width from 16 to 8000. The outer points reach 48% of the width from the center and the five inner corners sit at 45% of that distance, which gives fairly narrow arms. One point always faces straight up.
Only the middle of the frame and the five arms survive. A face fits in the center; anything near the frame corners disappears. Text rarely works, because the inner corners cut through letters. Pick a bold, simple subject such as a logo mark, a trophy or one face.
For a softer shape around a face, Heart Crop and Circle Crop keep far more of the photo. Hexagon Crop is the one for tiles that fit together. All of them save a PNG with a transparent background, so the shape sits on any color.

Star Crop tips
- Zoom the frame in tight on a face; only about 30% of the square survives.
- Type 512 in Width for a chat sticker, or keep 1200 for printing.
- Center a trophy or logo mark rather than words, which the inner corners slice.
- Rotate the PNG by 36 degrees if you want a point facing down instead of up.
