The short answer
Why use Heart Crop?
Cutting a heart by hand means drawing two matching curves and a clean point, then masking everything around them. Here the outline is already drawn, and you only decide which part of the photo sits inside it.
The heart is drawn inside a square frame, so the export is always square: 1200 × 1200 pixels by default, or any width from 16 to 8000 that you type. The height follows the width by itself. The outline narrows to a point near the bottom edge, which means the lower corners of your frame are cut away completely. Keep faces and text in the upper two-thirds.
Everything outside the outline is transparent in the PNG. That is what you want for a sticker or for laying the heart over a colored card. Chat apps that turn pictures into JPEG fill the transparent area with a solid color, so send the PNG as a file or document if the edges matter.
Couple photos shot in landscape usually fit better than portrait ones, because the two faces need to sit side by side inside a square. Circle Crop gives the round version of the same idea, and Star Crop a five-point star.

Heart Crop tips
- Keep faces in the upper two-thirds; the bottom of the heart narrows to a point.
- Send the PNG as a file so chat apps do not fill the transparent corners.
- Landscape couple photos fit the square frame better than portrait ones.
- Type a smaller width, such as 512, for a chat sticker.
