Why use Crop GIF?
Screen recordings and reaction GIFs often carry black bars or a busy border. Trimming every frame by hand needs an editor that understands animation.
Centered crop runs from 10 to 100 percent and starts at 80. At 80, a 500 × 500 GIF keeps its middle 400 × 400 pixels and loses 50 from each side. Every frame is cut at the same spot, and the frame delays and loop setting carry over. The kept pixels are not enlarged, so the GIF gets smaller in both size and file weight.
Because the share is the same for width and height, you cannot remove bars from only the top and bottom without losing the sides too. Pick the lowest value that still clears the border you want gone, then play the result twice to check nothing important was cut at the edges.
If you want the whole picture but smaller, use Resize GIF instead. Crop Image offers a free crop box with ratio presets, but it works on still images, so it keeps only one frame of a GIF. To turn a sideways recording upright after cropping, use Rotate GIF.
