Why use PDF to JPG?
Sending a page as an image is often the only way to get it into a chat, a slide, or a form that refuses PDFs. Screenshotting page by page is slow, and the size changes with your screen.
There are no settings. Each page is drawn at 150 DPI and saved as a JPEG at quality 90, with a white background behind anything transparent. The status line counts the pages as they render, and you can cancel a long file partway. The ZIP name ends in -jpg-pages.zip so it is easy to find in your downloads.
The JPEG is a picture of the page, so the text in it can no longer be selected, searched, or copied. Very small print and thin lines can look soft at 150 DPI, and JPEG adds faint smudges around sharp black letters. If a PDF relies on fonts it does not embed, the browser may draw a substitute font.
If you want the photos inside a PDF rather than pictures of whole pages, Extract from PDF pulls out the embedded images at their original resolution. To get the words back out of a page image, run it through Image to Text. If you only need a smaller PDF to send, converting to JPEG rarely helps, because a page of text usually takes more space as a picture than as PDF text.

PDF to JPG tips
- Pages render at 150 DPI, about 1240 × 1754 pixels for A4.
- For a password-protected PDF, save a copy without the password first.
- Text in the JPEG cannot be searched; keep the PDF for that.
- Use Extract from PDF when you want the photos inside, not the whole page.
