Why use License Plate Blur?
Plates in sale listings and street photos can be traced back to an owner. A rough smudge in a phone editor often leaves digits readable; here the hiding strength has a floor, so characters inside the box stay unreadable.
Draw a box on the preview, or type its position and size as percentages and tap Add area. The typed defaults place a 30% by 20% box at 30% from the left and top. Strength runs from 10 to 100 and starts at 60. In Pixelate mode that turns a plate into roughly a dozen blocks along its short side.
Plates are small, so zoom the page in on a phone before you drag, and make the box a little larger than the plate. Reflections and the plate surround can show part of the number, so include the frame. Choosing another photo removes all boxes, which stops a box from landing on the wrong picture.
Blur Face uses the same box editor and adds a Detect faces button, which helps when people are also in the shot. If you want the whole car sharp and the background soft, Lens Blur does that. To crop the plate out entirely, use Crop Image.

How to use License Plate Blur
- 01Tap Choose image and pick the car photo, or use Paste from clipboard.
- 02Drag a box over the plate, or type Area X, Area Y, width and height in percent and tap Add area.
- 03Tap Apply changes, zoom in on each plate to check no digit is readable, then tap Download result.

License Plate Blur tips
- Draw the box slightly larger than the plate, including its frame.
- Pixelate or Solid box are safer than Blur on high-resolution photos.
- Drag inside a finished box to nudge it onto the plate.
- Remove last area undoes one box; Clear all areas starts over.
