Why use Blur Frame?
A soft border pulls the eye to the center without cropping anything away. Doing it by hand needs a feathered mask and a separate blur layer; here the frame shape and the soft transition are already built in.
There is one setting, Amount, from 0 to 100 with 50 as the default. The blur grows with the photo size, so a 4000-pixel image gets the same look as a small one. The sharp area is fixed: a rounded rectangle that starts 12% in from every edge, with a soft fade of a few percent between sharp and blurred.
Because the frame follows the photo's proportions, a very wide panorama gets a thin blurred band at the top and bottom and a much wider band left and right in pixels. A subject close to the edge, like a face at the side of a group shot, will end up in the soft zone, so check the edges before you save.
If the subject is off-center, Lens Blur lets you tap where the sharp circle goes, and the size of that circle is yours to set. Tilt Shift keeps a horizontal band sharp instead of a rectangle. Vignette darkens the edges without blurring them, and running both on the same photo gives a classic portrait finish.

Blur Frame tips

- Crop first if your subject sits near a side, so it lands inside the sharp zone.
- Amount 30 gives a gentle frame; 80 or more looks dreamy.
