Remove White BG online

Logos and product shots often come on white, which shows as a box on any colored page. A plain magic wand clears the white inside letters and eyes too; this tool only clears white connected to the border unless you ask for more.

Tolerance runs from 1 to 60 and starts at 12. A pixel counts as white when its darkest channel is within that percentage of 255, so at 12 every channel must be at least about 224. The tool spreads from all four edges through connected near-white pixels and clears them, then softens a one-pixel ring around what is left.

Shadows under a product and the gray of a phone photo of paper often fall outside the default. Raise Tolerance to 20 or 30 for those, and watch light parts of the subject. Also clear enclosed white areas removes near-white everywhere, which you want for the inside of letters like O and A, but it also clears eyes and white clothing.

Green Screen Remover is for green backdrops. Trim Transparent crops the empty edges once the background is gone, which keeps a logo file small and easy to align. For a black signature on paper that you want as pure black ink, run Threshold first, then remove the white.
