File properties often explain why an image prints poorly, rotates unexpectedly, or reveals more information than intended. Reading the file first prevents guesswork.
Photo Location focuses on reading GPS coordinates stored in photo metadata. The inspector reports what the file contains and says when a tag is absent. It does not invent DPI, GPS, camera, or shutter data that was never stored.
The selected file stays in this browser tab and is released when you leave the page. Metadata fields are optional and can be removed by messaging apps or editors. A missing value is different from a zero value.

Before you export
- Inspect the original camera file when possible.
- Do not assume a missing DPI tag changes the actual pixel dimensions.
