Why use Add Text to Image?
Opening a full editor just to put a short caption on a photo is slow. Here you type, check the live preview, and save, and long lines shrink to fit instead of running off the edge.
The Text box starts with the word ExtractPics, so replace it with your caption. Text size runs from 10 to 180 and starts at 42, and Text color starts at white. Size is scaled to the photo as if its longest side were 1400 pixels, so 42 looks about the same on a 1080 pixel post and a 4000 pixel camera photo.
Every letter gets a thin semi-transparent dark outline, which keeps white text readable on a bright sky. The font is your device's bold system font, so the same caption can look slightly different on a Mac, a Windows PC, and an Android phone. If a line is wider than the photo, it shrinks rather than wrapping.
Add Watermark adds an Opacity slider and can repeat the text across the whole picture, so it is the page for a name or copyright mark. Add Timestamp fills in a date and time for you. For a caption on an animated GIF, use Add Text to GIF, which writes the text on every frame and keeps the animation.
