The short answer

Why use Add Logo?

Placing a logo by hand on each photo gives slightly different sizes and positions. Here the size and margin follow the same rule every time.

Choose the photo first and the logo second. Dropped and pasted images are added to the ones already open, so you can open the photo and then drop the logo onto it. Picking with the button again replaces the set, so select both files together if you use it. The logo is scaled, keeping its proportions, until it fits within 28% of the photo's width and 28% of its height, then placed 24 pixels from the right and bottom edges.

Overlay opacity runs from 0 to 100% and starts at 55%, which reads as a soft watermark. Raise it to 100% for a solid logo. The 24 pixel margin is fixed in real pixels, so on a large camera photo the logo sits very close to the corner. A logo with a white box behind it will show that box; use a transparent PNG.

Add Watermark writes text instead of an image, which is quicker if your brand is just a name. Image Overlay stretches a second image across the whole photo rather than a corner. To brand an animated GIF, use Add Image to GIF, which puts the image in the same corner of every frame.

Add Logo tips

  • Use a transparent PNG logo so no white box shows.
  • The logo never exceeds 28% of the photo's width or height.
  • Only the first two images are used; extra ones are ignored.
  • Drop the logo onto the editor after the photo opens to keep the order right.

Add Logo FAQ

Something missing? Ask us.

Which image becomes the logo?

The second one. Pick or drop the photo first, then add the logo. Only the first two images are used.

Does a transparent logo stay transparent?

Yes. A PNG logo with a transparent background is drawn with its transparency, so only the logo itself shows on the photo.

Can I place the logo in another corner?

No. It always goes in the bottom-right corner, 24 pixels from each edge.

Does Add Logo upload my file?

No. Your browser does the work and clears the file when you leave the page. File names, pixels, and metadata are not sent to analytics.

Is Add Logo free to use?

Yes. No signup and no watermark.

Why did Add Logo fail or look wrong?

If the tab stops responding, the file is too big for this device's memory. iPhone HEIC photos may need exporting as JPEG first.
