The short answer
Why use Measure Image?
Upload forms and print shops ask for sizes your phone gallery does not show. One read gives you every figure they are likely to ask about, in a list you can copy.
Open an image and the report lists six lines: file size, dimensions in pixels, aspect ratio, megapixels, print size at 300 DPI in inches and centimeters, and MIME type. A 4032 × 3024 phone photo, for example, reads 4:3, 12.19 MP, and 13.44 × 10.08 inches at 300 DPI. You can copy the list straight from the panel.
The tool does not measure the picture's diagonal, and it does not draw anything. Download result gives back the same file you opened, so do not expect a marked-up copy. Very large files are refused: the limits are 50 MB and 50 megapixels, so some high-resolution camera files will not open here.
Size Finder, Aspect Ratio and Megapixel read the same figures and save them as a text file. DPI Checker goes further for print and reads the DPI value stored inside the file. To measure a length inside the picture rather than the picture itself, use Measure Distance.

Measure Image tips
- Print size assumes 300 DPI, the usual target for sharp photo prints.
- The limit is 50 MB and 50 megapixels per image.
- Width and height follow the orientation tag, so portrait shots read taller than wide.
- For lengths inside the photo, switch to Measure Distance or Online Ruler.
