Why use Eraser?

Eraser focuses on painting transparent areas onto a copy of an image. Composition tools draw text, shapes, or additional images onto a canvas. Downloading flattens the layers, so the exported file behaves like a normal image.
The selected file stays in this browser tab and is released when you leave the page. Zoom in on text and thin lines before export. The downloaded image is flattened, so keep the source files if you may need to edit it again.

Download a flattened copy
Export is a flattened png or a zip when the job creates several files. The download is a new file. Keep the original until you have opened the copy once.

Before you export
- Keep important marks inside a safe margin.
- Choose a color that stays visible over both bright and dark areas.
- Use the smallest readable text size at the final display scale.
- Save source images separately because the export is flattened.
