Color & Adjustments
Each tool here is one slider from a photo editor's adjust panel, with a live preview and an Original button to compare. Most photos need only one or two of them. Fix exposure or brightness first, then color temperature, then saturation or vibrance.
Files stay in your browser.
Brightness makes a photo lighter or darker by scaling every pixel, from a quarter to 1.75 times the original. Save a PNG. Free, no signup, no upload.

Open toolWhich slider to reach for
- Exposure: Works in camera stops, up to two either way. Use it when the whole photo came out too dark or too bright.
- Brightness: The plain lighter or darker control. Lighten and Darken are one-direction versions of the same thing.
- Gamma: Moves the midtones while pure black and pure white stay put, so a dim indoor shot opens up without the window turning white.
- Vibrance: Raises dull colors more than strong ones, so skin does not turn orange. Saturation raises every color by the same amount.
- Color Temperature: Warms toward orange or cools toward blue. Use it for the blue cast of shade or the yellow cast of indoor bulbs.
- Color Grading: Puts one color into the shadows and another into the highlights, the way films get their teal-and-orange look.
- Threshold: Turns every pixel pure black or pure white at a cutoff you choose. Handy for cleaning up a photographed signature or line drawing.
- Adjust Channels: Scales the red, green, blue, or alpha channel on its own, for fixing one channel that is too strong.
